Sized for extended expedition-style backcountry hunts, the ICON 6 8200 stows your complete gear list, rifle or bow, and 10+ days of food. It features an extended upper shroud with draw-cord cinch to maximize capacity, while the full horseshoe zipper provides easy access deep into the pack. Run it lidless and compressed for excellent maneuverability while hunting.

Backpacking Guide

"KUIU has been my choice of hunting gear for at least 8 years. Recently I became a backpacking guide and I’ve tried a few different packs known in the backpacking community. None could match the performance of my old KUIU pack so when the new Icon 6 came out I had to grab it. Guiding means carrying a heavy pack and the Icon 6 8200 crushes the competition. I’m willing to bet that I’m the only backpacking guide carrying your gear but the word will spread! I just wrapped up a 14 day trip on Baffin Island through the Akshayuk Pass. This was the first outing for my Icon 6. This pack makes extremely heavy loads feel lighter than they are. I highly recommend it anyone who needs a pack no matter if it’s hunting or backpacking. It’s a standout even among KUIUs previous model of pack. Thanks for making outstanding gear. I’ll be spreading the word about KUIU around the globe."

Very good, but a little small

"First of all, it’s a very light backpack with a lot of smart solutions. The hip-belt is taking most of the weight, as is should. Very comfortable. I’m been carrying heavy backpacks for more than 30 year, and this is a good one. I’m used to weights around 40kg/88ibs. This one handle that without any trouble. But I think the main compartment is too small, this bag is supposed to be 134L/8200cu in. But, when I compare it to my old backpack from Norrona, RECON 125L/7637 cu in. The KUIU is a little smaller. No way that i could fit all my gear for 10 days+ self supported backcountry hunting inside this. As you say in your advertising. Please make a video, where everything you need for a self supported 10+ days hunting trip. From food, your stove, all gear and clothes and everything else, and show how it’s supposed to fit inside’s this. I was not able to do that. Of course, it’s a lot of smart solutions on the outside for attach the gear. But almost every backpack on the market, have also those opportunities. I wished a bigger main compartment. But a light and comfortable backpack, shipped very fast too Norway. Only 4 stars because of the size."

Hello. It's look amazing, but is it capable to handle weight close to 40kg/88ib? And when will it be possible to buy? Best regards from Norway.
Yes, it is rated to carry over 150lbs! To ship to Norway you will need to select the Norwegian flag at the bottom right corner of the website. This will ensure all VATs are included at the time of purchase as well.
