"First trip was a 4 day elk hunt. I purchased the small frame, for a 32 inch waist. The pack fits well as was easy to adjust for comfort. I appreciate the pockets for a spotter and tripod, in particular when loaded for day hunts."
"Pack fits and wears great. After 6 day western Canada sheep hunt pack developed some small holes in one of the side pockets from 20-60x80 spotter arca swiss mount. Other than that I have had no issues so far. Maybe will have to keep spotter in another spot or just strap it to the exterior of the bag. Will see how the rest of the season goes."
"Unreal pack. Lots of storage and pockets for organizing. The straps are comfortable with an 80lb pack on. Quick and easy to remove the bag and install the load shelf. Highly recommend this pack and frame system !"
"I haven’t done a full field test yet, but I have loaded the gear I want to carry in it and tried it out. It does a great job of carrying everything and allows for different configurations. It is comfortable when loaded. The improved waist belt is definitely noticeable. Very well made pack."
"I had high hopes for this pack because I’ve loved almost all of my Kuiu clothes but designing packs for women is not in Kuiu’s wheelhouse. I tried contacting customer service both in email and over the phone and it was very apparent that there was very little women involvement in the testing of the packs before they were released. I’m 5’6 with an athletic build and the frame was way too tall for a typical women’s torso size. I returned and went with a different company who makes frames more suitable to women’s bodies. I did end up ordering the men’s pack and it fits my hunting parter good. Only complaint he has is the hip belt slides down with weight in the pack and the lack of compression straps on the frame itself allows for the weight to slide to the very bottom after a few minutes of hiking and offsets the weight distribution"
"KUIU has been my choice of hunting gear for at least 8 years. Recently I became a backpacking guide and I’ve tried a few different packs known in the backpacking community. None could match the performance of my old KUIU pack so when the new Icon 6 came out I had to grab it. Guiding means carrying a heavy pack and the Icon 6 8200 crushes the competition. I’m willing to bet that I’m the only backpacking guide carrying your gear but the word will spread! I just wrapped up a 14 day trip on Baffin Island through the Akshayuk Pass. This was the first outing for my Icon 6. This pack makes extremely heavy loads feel lighter than they are. I highly recommend it anyone who needs a pack no matter if it’s hunting or backpacking. It’s a standout even among KUIUs previous model of pack. Thanks for making outstanding gear. I’ll be spreading the word about KUIU around the globe."

"First of all, it’s a very light backpack with a lot of smart solutions. The hip-belt is taking most of the weight, as is should. Very comfortable. I’m been carrying heavy backpacks for more than 30 year, and this is a good one. I’m used to weights around 40kg/88ibs. This one handle that without any trouble. But I think the main compartment is too small, this bag is supposed to be 134L/8200cu in. But, when I compare it to my old backpack from Norrona, RECON 125L/7637 cu in. The KUIU is a little smaller. No way that i could fit all my gear for 10 days+ self supported backcountry hunting inside this. As you say in your advertising. Please make a video, where everything you need for a self supported 10+ days hunting trip. From food, your stove, all gear and clothes and everything else, and show how it’s supposed to fit inside’s this. I was not able to do that. Of course, it’s a lot of smart solutions on the outside for attach the gear. But almost every backpack on the market, have also those opportunities. I wished a bigger main compartment. But a light and comfortable backpack, shipped very fast too Norway. Only 4 stars because of the size."
