Sized for weeklong backcountry hunts, the ICON 6 6000 stows your complete gear list, rifle or bow, and a full week of food. The full horseshoe zipper with next-to-frame access allows easy reach into the main compartment. Run it lidless and compressed for excellent maneuverability while hunting.

"Put it to the test today. Full to the seams load-out plus additional load in between the frame and pack. 94. 7lbs. Extremely rugged terrain with extremely dense timber, deadfall, brush oak, and shale rocks. Steep climbs and descents; essentially the roughest country Colorado offers. The pack itself performed above expectations, and proved to be extremely durable in the roughest conditions. This pack outlasted my other gear and body regarding the stuff I was pushing through. Tore clothes and skin, but the pack went through it all unscathed after a straight 6hr push. Zippers held even when I thought they had no chance with as much was packed in. Same with the buckles. Everything preformed well on this pack. Great overall experience with the pack; not so much with the rest of the day."

More stable carrying weight

"I have always loved the comfort of the Kuiu packs, and the great pockets and organization of the bags, but the old pro packs just swayed too much with the narrow frame. The new Icon 6000 I'm using is the best of both worlds. It's so much more stable, with the same comfort and easy to use bags. I love it!"

Amazing

"I love this pack. I will say I have not been able to take it out on a hunt yet but I have been loading it up with 75lbs for sand bags and hiking with it. I usually do about 3 miles a night with it, hiking a pretty hilly driveway to help get in shape for my hunt, and it is absolutely amazing. The very first thing I noticed is how well and comfortably it carries the weight. Second thing I noticed was how I was able to carry the weight standing straight up, my old pack made me want to lean forward quite a bit. I am really excited to put this pack to work on my elk hunt this October. If your considering getting this pack buy it and you won't be let down!"

Great pack, super comfortable and great features

"I just put this pack through the paces on a backcountry Idaho archery deer hunt. I really like all the new features of the Icon 6. Everything is well thought out with excellent functionality. Adjusting the fit for my body was a breeze. With close to 70 lbs of gear, food and equipment, the pack handled the 13 mile hike and was comfortable the entire time."

Excellent pack!

"Did a light elk scouting trip with this back and it’s MILES better than my last pack— I was using a Teton 4000 internal frame. This was by far the most comfortable pack I’ve worn and the space is excellent. Will be using this on an 8 day archery elk and mule deer hunt this September"

Stone sheep hauler

"Just got back from a successful 6 day backpacking stone sheep hunt in BC and the new icon 6 6000 performed immaculately! So many improvements from the previous models. Even our hunting guides, who are all Stone Glacier guys commented on how great the new Kuiu pack system was! That’s saying something coming from those rugged guys. We carried 50-60#’s daily in the packs through gnarly terrain with zero issues. We cranked on the buckles and straps as hard as anyone could and zero issues. Overall, extremely happy with the purchase and I will be adding more bags for the frame for sure."

Is there a new bow holder or does the old model still work?
The Pack Bow Holder will still work great on the Icon 6 packs!
Will you be coming out with an ultralight bag option in the future?
We have not yet been informed of additional bag options coming out, but innovation never rests here at KUIU!
Will the icon 6 pack fit on the frame of the Pro LT packs?
It will not, it is a completely new system
