"I didn’t think KUIU could improve much on the last pack. I was wrong. The 4500 bag has better pockets, tougher straps and clips, and a suspension/frame upgrade that actually carries weight instead of fighting you. Load sits higher, rides quieter, and stays on your hips instead of hanging off your shoulders. Trade the old one in. This is the pack."
"I like the way the Icon 6 4500 bag is set up, and all the hardware and fabric seem to be amazing. I had to send this bag back because of sizing issues. The previous bag I had was the Kuiu Pro 3600, which didn't hold up very long. The plastic forms in the hip belt broke, which started ripping the fabric. Anyway, I decided to try the new Icon 4500. The new Icon 4500 frame (Tall) is 2 1/2" taller than the old model (Tall) frames, which for someone who is 5' 10" is way too tall. I assumed the new and old model frames would have been more similar. I am still waiting for the new one to show up, and hopefully the regular size fits a little better. I would say the Tall size should be recommended for anyone over 6' tall."
"This pack is exceptional , I am 6’ 155 pounds . I got the small suspension and tall frame and it is perfect. Leaves room for when I’m wearing layers and is only half way cinches down in regular jeans and a T shirt."

"I have yet to test the pack in the field but first impressions have been outstanding. Every detail has been thought out in these new icon 6 packs and from initial testing with 70lbs (water and heavy gear), the pack and frame system handles weight noticeably well. Bag design was the main reason I decided to give Kuiu packs a try, but I wasnt willing to sacrifice load hauling comfort being an owner of other highly reputable pack brands that excelled in that area. Happy to report that I have no initial concerns and was impressed so much about how comfortable and controlled it was under weight that I bought a second bag (8200) and am now selling my other pack I had originally intended to keep for the longer duration hunts. The 4500 will be my go-to 1-3 day pack (depending on gear requirements) and will use the 8200 for everything else. The divide pocket is by far my new favorite way to carry assembled spotter and tripod for secure storage and fast deployment."
"Very impressed with this pack. Everything was well thought out and placed. In the short weeks I've had it i have hauled 60lbs around and it feels great. The videos from kuiu help with setup and figuring the bag out. Im very please money well spent just like all kuiu."
"This is now my primary pack. I have the previous Pro versions with multiple bags and they have been perfect. I updated to the Icon 6 to add to my gear and to see how all the improvements make this pack even better than the previous system. So far the fit is perfect and I cannot wait to put it to use this fall."
"This Kuiu pack and frame combo is a big improvement over the last model. I’ve only worn it for a half hour hike before writing this, but it seems to be more comfortable and rides much better. The center of gravity is good and it rides above the waist well. I loaded it with 40 pounds and it didn’t shift from side to side while taking each step, as the last Kuiu Pro pack did. I didn’t feel like leaning forward to keep it balanced. The suspension feels more fitting to the body due in part to how shoulder straps come off the frame in a wider stance. The older model’s frame suspension seemed too narrow for me. The 4500 bag is well designed and plenty long enough. I can fit my entire tripod into the divide pocket without removing the binocular adapter. The divide pocket should also work great for transporting a rifle. Overall, the entire new pack frame system is a great improvement. Looking forward to putting it through the ultimate test of packing out a real load of meat this season!"
