"I was needing a carrier for my thermos. I researched the diameter of this holder as well as the diameter of a Nalgene bottle. Then looked for a thermos with an appropriate outside diameter. "It works fine and is light. However, it’s designed for a normal sized Nalgene. However, the Kuiu branded water bottles are skinnier and taller, so not a great fit. It works, but not ideal."

Good but could be better

"Its good. Does what it needs to do. Id like to see it have a gusset or something with shock cord to adjust for different sized bottles a little better. The yeti bottle is just a little skinny for it. Works perfect with a nalgene but I like to take my grayl on trips that too is also on the skinnier side."
