"I have hunted for around 20 years now and have always worn what I have. I decided I wanted to see if higher end hunting clothing was worth it. After about a month of research and shopping I settled on the KUIU Guide Pro set for the greatest percentage of use. Worth every dollar I spent. It is true to size, fits extremely well, pocket design is phenomenal, comfortable, durable and free moving. I was surprised most by the durability. I have ran them through thorn thickets and not had a snag come out yet. Will be purchasing the axis hybrid set, and a Tiburon pant and Gila Pro shirt set"

"Sized up based on prior reviews since I’m not a skinny dude and am super happy with the fit as there is room to layer. Definitely warm and like the pit zips to dump heat when needed. Great pockets. Looking forward to seeing how it performs in the winter when the temps really drop and the wind is blowing."

"Nice jacket that meets expectations. At first I thought the material was a bit thin for the price range but it's actually pretty good for active use. Somewhat roomy for me, but that allows layering. Armpit zips are very useful. The hood design is functional but I'd prefer the option to remove the hood. I'd probably wear a small of that size was available."

"Great early season jacket. I wore it for the first time on a late October coues deer hunt in Arizona and never took not off except on a few very warm days. Very comfortable. Very breathable. I love that it fits below the butt line and has draw strings to keep the breeze from going up your backside."

Very Happy with my Purchase

"We hunted 2nd rifle elk season on the western slopes of Colorado. The jacket worked great in rain, snow, sleet and sunshine. Very warm with a few light layers and stayed somewhat cool with one layer under. I got the XL so I could wear thicker layers underneath. I'm 5'9 so I took the jacket to my tailor to have the sleeves taken up. She did a perfect job and you can't tell the sleeves were altered. im very happy with the purchase. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Park Meadows Kuiu location. They were very knowledgeable and helped me make a purchase I'm very happy with."

Great for all activities

"I bought this for a light weight jacket that I was hoping ai would be able to use in moderately cool weather or to help when it was a little rainy. First week I had it I took it out camping. Wore it in everything from high 50° weather to mid 20° weather. Had 30 mile per hour winds and a decent amount of rain. I wore this the entire 1.5 weeks I was camping, hiking and shooting. No tears, no wear and kept me warm the whole time. Wasn't too hot for the warmer weather and it wasn't too cold for the colder weather. Kept me dry easily and I didn't have any wind coming through. The side pockets were great even and could even hold a 20oz water bottle. The chest pockets easily held my phone in place. This jacket is good enough for me to use every day for work and look put together, all while also being great for camping or hunting."
