Work pants

"Excellent work pants. Great stretch and comfort. I love how you can remove the knee pads, I mostly use them without the pads. I’ll been wearing them a couple times a week and they are great. Love the pockets. Love fabric on the inside of the pants. Get them, I’m saving up for another pair."

Work Pants

"Work pants are considerably larger in size than hunting lines. I’ve been wearing kuiu gear for over a decade and own over a dozen pairs of pants and shorts made by kuiu and they all fit the same. This sizing discrepancy came as a big surprise and disappointment. Unfortunately I didn’t pay too much attention to it and wore the pants for a day making it not possible to return for a smaller size. Ultimately the material and build is the quality you’d expect, just not sure why they changed the sizing."

Awesome material and very flexible.

"Awesome material and very flexible. The only thing I don’t like is that I have size 38 waist Kuiu pants that fit very nicely and the groundwork pants are much tighter around the thigh and butt."

Best work pants I’ve owned.

"These are my new everyday pants, they handle everything I’ve thrown at them around the yard, garage, and remote backcountry hiking and still look almost new. I did find a little snag the other day, but given what I’ve put them thru I’m not disappointed. Haven’t used the kneepads yet but glad I have them for when I do. For sure these are not hunting pants, they do swish when you walk. my iPhone 17max pro with cover fits in one of the right tool pockets, barely. would be nice if that pocket was a tad deeper thou (I’m right handed so don’t prefer the larger left pocket). also, I misplaced my wallet when wearing these pants, and since the back pocket doesn't have a zipper I thought it fell out (found it in other pants!), but a zipper on a least one back pocket (like on their Attack pants) would be a good upgrade."

Tough, comfortable and practical

"These have become my go-to for hands-on work — some hiking, but mostly in the workshop and doing vehicle maintenance. True to size, plenty of stretch and comfortable for a full day, and tough enough to take a beating. The knee pads are genuinely useful when you're down on the ground working. Really impressed."

A pant i was looking

"A pant i was looking for a while. As a market gardener the perfect match for year round. I'm 6 foot and 155lbs and it fits perfekt."

Longer inseam needed!

"The pants themselves are durable, fit well, and are great for working outside when its hot as they breathe well. Rated 4 stars due to the longest inseam offered is 34". Many men over 6'4" will find this barely managing to reach the ankles. If offered in a 36 or more length, 5 stars for sure."

My occupation is flooring. I've

"My occupation is flooring. I've got over 40 years on my knees. Big bulky knee pads are difficult though wear in tight areas that remodel scenarios bring about. I found the fabric to be amazing but the pads migrate ALOT in the pocket. They migrate differently in each knee because, well my knees are old and don't look the same anymore. I would like to see if a top load with a pad that fits snug in the pocket would work better. Currently I leave them sideways in the pocket and it's "OK" . . . ish. When I wear my pro knee pads I just take out the pads in the pant. Again the pant is very comfortable."

Great pants so far

"Love the kneepads and vents. Right cargo pocket fits a iphone 16 pro in the center section. I got these one size big but didn't need to."

Jeremy B. (5/5)

Great quality, runs small, badly needs a zippered rear pocket

"I bought these pants mainly for doing wildlife photography in alpine environments. Prior to getting these, I used Carhartts with hard shell knee pads, but the pads slip on talus and on other solid, smooth surfaces. And the hard shell pads though comfortable, are overkill for most situations I'm in. These pants seemed like a good solution. The pads are hard enough and thick enough to do the job without being restrictive or bulky. Based on other reviews saying these run small, I ordered up a size in the waist and the fit is perfect. I usually wear a 33 or 32 in work pants, and got a 34 in these. They weren't available in 32 inseam, so I bought the 34 and had them hemmed. I've worn them for about 16 days, 5 in the alpine, 11 in Ecuador, and they are the nearly perfect outdoor pant. Nearly. The back pockets are not secure enough for a wallet. When sitting, my wallet migrates up in the pocket (it doesn't do this in my Carhartts or other work/outdoor pants). It nearly came out of the pocket while I was working in talus, and twice in Ecuador, it came fully out the pocket. Fortunately, I didn't lose it, and went to carrying it in a front pocket. All my specialty outdoor pants have at least one zip rear pocket, and these pants need this feature badly, especially given the price. Back to the seamstress for a zipper or a snap, which when combined with the hemming job will make these ~$240 pants. Still, I'd probably buy these again because the fit, quality of construction, material, and overall function of the pant are great."

Q&A

Is there only one inseam length?
34" is our regular inseam length, but we can certainly let the team know that there is interest in additional lengths
