"Super lightweight. Hood is a great added feature especially during the early hot season when all the mosquitos are out flying around your head! Giving a 4 star because I’m a decently big guy and ordered an XL and it is pretty snug; should have gone with a 2XL for a little more wiggle room."

Does the job but not worth the $

"Fit is tighter than I expected. Not as breathable as I expected as well. It also holds smell. I spent half a morning fishing on a river with this on and it was fairly warm. By the end of the trip the shirt was really holding onto the sweat/BO. I am not one who has bad BO but I would consider myself the average BO. For a sub shirt I expected better performance, especially at the price point. I would not buy again"

Excellent sun/heat protection

"I've had a Verde Gila pro hoodie for a couple of years but after buying it I found out and have been dealing with skin cancer. Wearing it and using the neck gaiter has brought a whole new perspective to comfort and protection in the sun and hot weather. So much so that I have purchased the Valo design and (3) plain colors for hunting and more so for my daily activities in the sun. Awesome clothing,"

"This sun shirt is hands down my favorite outdoor attire. I live in Arizona and it gets hot, the sun is a permanent issue here. This shirt allows me to function in comfort and style. The adherence to non toxic and NIR compliant fabric is a major bonus for versatile clothing. The camo patterns are hands down blend for various environments. Being a combat veteran who previously stuck to multicam, it fits well with multicam gear. I appreciate the quality and durability while putting this shirt to the test."

It’s just OK

"It’s an OK shirt. I like the built-in neck gaiter and the fit of the shirt. However, the hot weather performance is just OK and the hood is poorly designed. The hood blows off with the slightest breeze, and that’s pretty annoying when usually using the shirt at a time when your hands are occupied but you have to keep reaching for the hood to hold it in place. I’m really surprised there isn’t a way to button/snap/cinch the hood down when you need it to stay put. Honestly, for a $100 hoody, I expected more."

"This hoodie was exactly what I needed. In 97 deg. weather. It kept me from the sun perfectly and it didn’t overheat me. I was actually surprised how it didn’t overheat me and made me comfortable. I would highly recommend this item. Lastly in this weather for over a week, the odor resistance was real. It didn’t smell after the week of wear. Legit garment"
