Great for desert sun

"Got this to wear when walking the dogs. I have concerning sunspots around my face ear and neck area that I should be careful being in the AZ sun. This hat is lightweight and does the job. I also have what some call an overly large head!!! This is comfortable and did not need to be stretched as many L XL hats have to in my situation!!!"

Best Boonie Hat I've Found

"Super comfortable. This hat does not feel tight but it still stay on in the wind. I removed the neck cord as it has a cool little attachment clip that also rubs against my ears and is slightly annoying. But the hat has a tension cord on it so if the wind picks up you can just make the hat tighter. I love Boonie hats for off trail adventures as they are comfortable and when you are plowing through thorns or brush you can just put your head down and force your way through. I have tried a bunch of different boonie hats and I did not really like any of them but this is way higher quality. It's KUIU so of course it's better. It is as cool as a bonnie hat is going to get. It is obviously still hotter than not wearing a hat but it keeps the sun off your face and neck and has a stiff enough brim to push through brush. Great purchase."

Q&A

How is it for fishing and water resistance?
It is my favorite option for fishing in hot weather! It is water resistant and does a great job repelling light rain, but it is not waterproof
