"Got this to wear when walking the dogs. I have concerning sunspots around my face ear and neck area that I should be careful being in the AZ sun. This hat is lightweight and does the job. I also have what some call an overly large head!!! This is comfortable and did not need to be stretched as many L XL hats have to in my situation!!!"

What is the width of the brim?
About 3" in the front/ back and 2.25" on the sides
XL/XXL size for 7 5/8 hat size?
Yes, you will want to select size XL/XXL for a 7 5/8 hat size
Can the hat be soaked in water prior to use? Use would be at a grandkids soccer game.
It dries quickly, but I personally enjoy dipping it in the lake while fishing on hot days
Are there any thoughts on making a cold weather boogie? I would love one for those cold days to keep snow and/or rain off my head and neck. Boonies are great for cold weather as well as warm!
