Not a good shirt-jacket for layering, but I love it for what it is.
"After finding a fit that works for me, I love it for what it is. Typically a Large, I found it to be snug in the shoulders with the sherpa lining, while the midsection was absolutely HUGE. It was sized up to be worn with mid-layers, but the proportions are off and sherpa lining causes bunching, so wearing it over anything more than a t-shirt is a no-go. If I sized up to an XL the mid-section would be hysterically massive. Upon realizing I was limited to wearing over a t-shirt only, I actually sized down to a Medium and was surprised to be happy with it. The shoulders aren't noticeably more snug than the Large, and the midsection is appropriately sized. It still takes some adjusting of t-shirt sleeves when first putting it on, as they tend to bunch up due to the sherpa lining, the built-in stretch to the outer layer makes it overall comfortable once on."
Durable Made to Last
"Very thick canvas type material but not so stiff that it’s uncomfortable. Appears very durable. Wear it more as a jacket to do chores and work. Nice fit and love the pattern. Just wish it had hand pockets."
Great shirt-jack
"I love shirt-jacks and this one is by far the warmest and most comfortable one yet. It may not be as durable as a Carhartt, but I love it for just throwing on and running out the house and it looks nicer as well. I’ll also mention, I can’t feel hardly any wind through it compared to a Carhartt, and I live in SW Wyoming where the wind always blows. My only complaint about it is that the liner material makes it difficult to put on without base layer getting all bound up and wrinkled."

"Great flannel jacket. Provides nice warmth with a comfortable fit. Jacket serves well on outdoor activities or going into town. As far as fit goes for me personally it’s a challenge. I really wish KUIU would offer longer sleeve options in regular large size. I’m 6’4” and weight 175lbs. Almost every long sleeve shirts or jackets are border line too short in the sleeves. This jacket is just long enough as long as it doesn’t shrink. I originally ordered the XL to get the extra length in sleeves but the jacket around the waist and chest was too big. Sent it back and exchanged for the large."

"I originally ordered a size up because I read a comment about how someone recommended doing that so they could wear thicker sweaters underneath. I ended up having to return it and stick with my normal size Large. No need to size up. The fit true to size. Great jacket. Plan to wear it on motorcycle also."

"Typical KUIU quality which is always great. Very warm, very well fitting and very comfortable. The only issue if I'm nitpicking is that it wrinkles very easily and stays wrinkled which is kind of annoying. That being said, I'll be getting one or two more because it's th perfect winter flannel. I typically wear a large flannel but I'm also short, this one was perfect in medium."
