Wonderful jacket
"I get several complements when I wear this jacket. The XL is alittle tight in the arm pits but well fitting everywhere else. My shirt sleeves tend to bunch up when putting on the jacket, but one fixed, it's very comfortable jacket. The pockets are perfect placement and are the perfect size. I use this as an everyday jacket. Does not block the wind well but is a great jacket."

"I haven't had a chance to really try this out other than walking around the neighborhood. The fleece is pretty quiet and dense, Its seems to do a good job slowing the wind. The fit/cut is on the slim side, if you have a keg instead of a 6 pack you may find the belly area tight in your regular size clothes. For me, the fit is good, the reason for the 4 stars is the arm pits are oddly snug."
My new favorite jacket!
"Very warm and windproof for it's weight. With two layers beneath it, I was very comfortable in 20 degree January bow hunting. Love all the pockets especially the double chest pockets. You should add a shoulder sleeve pocket. Magnetic snaps are nice and quiet and allow quick, quiet access but maybe not quite strong enough to feel secure. Material is nice and quiet for bow hunting. You hit a home run with this jacket."

- For those who like to layer into late season- how cold can this jacket go with 2 merino layers and the strong fleece 235 hoodie? I’m hoping to push this jacket into late season in MN. Temps in the teens to 20’s.
- With that layering, the Encounter Jacket should work well while sitting in temps between 28-30. If you're actively moving, it would work well from teens to 20s.
