"The encounter zip-t is a really good base layer next to skin. The grid fleece inside retains body heat. It works well as a mid-layer with a Vital-t underneath, and a Strong fleece 3rd layer on top. It is super lightweight and there are thumb loops and tough sewn cuffs for durability."

"Went all in on a full set of hunting gear this year. Been at least 10 years and I have lost weight. Bought heavy weight stuff since I deer hunt in Michigan. It can be 50 or 20 below.
