The color was not as

"The color was not as bold as I thought the online photos showed"

5/5 that's my rate out

"5/5 that's my rate out of the jacket"

Decent

"Fabric doesn’t seem high quality for a 300$ jacket. Cuff material seems cheap and so does the inside of the jacket. Pockets are t very ergonomic. Looks good but feels cheap."

Super Jacket

"Nice Jacket, great fit, kept me warm. ,"

Best Jacket Ever!

"I'm 6'6" 225 lbs. Usually jackets in a size X-Large always seem to be wide with sleeves that are too short in most brands for my body size. This Kuiu Elements jacket fits nicely with longer sleeves. I love the elements jacket so much I have in every color."

Coat

"I like the coat but I don't love it. The cuff area around the wrist is cheap but that's really my only complaint. Spend the extra money and buy the super down version. I have one and LOVE it."

Nice Jacket

"I really like this jacket, size is true, it's warm, however two things I would change. First the interior pocket, the zipper is so low you basically have to unzip the jacket to access it, an outside pocket would be better. Second the sleeve cuffs, that small ribbon material just does not do it, an inner cuff would be better. Overall it is a very well made jacket."

Excellent Jacket, cool store.

"Really like the jacket. Very warm for the lack of bulk. Would definitely buy again but I am in between sizes and would probably go up one size. Visited their store for the first time on Dallas Parkway and was impressed. Wish I had some hunting trips planned."

Best jacket I own

"Of all my Kuiu pieces this is my favourite. This is my 2nd Elements jacket - not because the first wore out after 5 years of owning it but because I wanted another to keep in the closest. Warm, comfortable, and durable."

Kris K. (5/5)

Warm and wind proof jacket

"I had bought this jacket for me in womens. My husband saw mine and wanted one. So this one was for him. He loves his coat and says it keeps him warm and it’s wind proof. He also likes it has a hood. Highly recommends!"

Q&A

What is the best hoodie/jacket for layering under the Elements jacket? Preferably windproof.
The Border Fleece Full Zip or Peloton 240 would be a great choices for your needs! They are not 100% windproof, but are extremely wind resistant!
How does it compare warmth and bulkyness wise to the super down LT?
The Elements line is warmer overall than the Super Down LT, and has a fuller profile than the LT.
I live in Alaska and I'm curious if this will be an all around good coat for the winter time up here?
This would be a great jacket for winter in Alaska; it's windproof, water resistant, and rated for use in frigid conditions.
I’m a 5’7” 160 lbs grandpa who can’t stay warm while watching my grandsons compete in hockey. Was wondering if this jacket would help me and if so what size would fit-medium or large?
The Elements provides a high amount of warmth, and is also windproof. For your size, you'll want to take measurements and order based off of your largest measurements. For extra room, you'll want to order a size up.
Is the carbon color black? Or off black?
It is black.
Would this jacket work for snowboarding?
Yes
