Great bag!

"Admittedly I haven't used this for any outdoor trekking or hunting yet, but rather for hauling gear and books back and forth to work. I'm definitely hoping to change that this summer though. for what I'm using it for it's perfect - lightweight, comfortable, and rides very nice on my shoulders and back. Ample storage for a jacket/hat for times it's raining, pouches for pens and cords, a nice semi-rigid back that bends but not too much, and side wells able to store big 32oz Nalgene bottles. Cannot wait to get it out into the sticks and see how she handles then."

Good bag

"I purchased this bag as a two-fer. I wanted a smaller bag to scout with and due to my traveling for work, wanted something rugged to carry my work items. I only wish there was a way to cover up the open compartment in the center of the bag. If it had that I would have given 5 stars. It is a high quality item. Examining the construction, I feel it will last me for many years of service."

Long term review

"Long term review! I've had this backpack for a year and a half now and have taken it hiking in Greece, all across the world in airports for work travel and on several family vacation trips (including a lot of beatings at the beach and Disney). Bottom line, it is the best backpack I've ever owned. The pockets in this backpack are so convenient for organizing and should be the standard in today's age. That and the ample padding on the shoulders and stuff-it pouch, the zipper to let liquids fall away, and so on. This is the ultimate day pack for any occasion. The one minor flaw that I will point out is the very flimsy loop at the top which I use all the time to hang up the bag while using the bathroom at airports is starting to rip. That and preference only, I'm not a huge fan of the branding with the ram head. . . I'd rather have something more low key or just the word "Kuiu", but that's up to personal preference. But, neither are deal breakers. I highly recommend this to anyone considering a purchase."

Q&A

Is this tsa approved for a flight? I already have a carry on, but need a backpack as well.
I generally use the Divide 1200, but if you were to remove the hip belt on the Divide 1500 you should be fine
