"Nice pack - bought this for tree stand hunting whitetail deer . This was large enough to take necessary equipment to the tree with me and not be to large to climb with . The zippers are much more quite than others I have tried . Also this feels comfortable to wear . Think this was a good choice , have not used this yet but I will during bow season in Iowa ."

"The Divide 1200 is the ideal day pack for me. Just the right size, plenty of compartments and pockets, cup holders, and lots of versatility you can see in their description and videos that I will not repeat here. I use primarily for day hunts in the stand, but I bought a second for travel and everyday use I liked it so much."

One trip - used hard, and it functioned very well.

"Used on a turkey hunt. Works well and seems durable. Zippers work and it and holds weight well (I probably overloaded it, my traps were dying). Found a 5pt elk shed and a 5x5 dead bull, strapped rack (along with the other stuff in the pack, including a turkey hen decoy) and all held up well. Used hydration bladder-functioned well. Straps are comfortable. Could've used the waist strap to help relieve the weight but I removed them due to clashing with my war belt (I have higher-waistband pants for backpack comfort)."

Q&A

Is there a way to attach climbing sticks for saddle hunting or do you have a different pack to recommend that will work better for carrying my platform and sticks into the woods?
The Encounter Divide 2800 is designed for this, but the Divide 1200 would not be an ideal choice for a stand/sticks
Is this pack waterproof ????
It is water resistant, but not rated as waterproof
Is there an accessory for this bag to drop down through the zipper opening to hold a gun in there and a bow? I love the size of this pack how it’s not too big (being a female), but it would be even better if I could put my gun through that center zipper For Carrying
