Chugach rain pant gunmetal

"16 days in Patagonia - landscape photography - serious wind and rain at times, sitting on wet ground waiting for the roght light and clouds to part. Never a moment of soak through, reinforcing at the boot level awesome in the dense and thorny brush. Full length zipper awesome for donning quick. Better than expected Size runs true for a rain pant/ over layer. Windproof yet breathable. Buy this if you need this!"

Best made rain pants ever

"Top quality. I had a pair of these one size smaller which fit perfectly over attack pants, but I wanted XXL also for when I wear more beneath. There is room than needed for movement but they still “stay with you” when climbing trees for suburban bow hunting, which is what I use them for."

Used them on a bear

"Used them on a bear hunt in Canada and they worked great in the rain."

Best Rain Paints

"Best rain paints I’ve ever owned…tough enough for the field, but also lightweight and packable—amazing!"

Worth the buy

"I mountaineer and spend lots of time in the cold weather alongside the snow. I came across these pants not knowing how well they would hold up. To my surprise, moving forward, these pants will be packed on every trip heading to the snow and cold temperatures. I recently summit Ben Nevis in minus 7 degrees, blizzard conditions and winds between 25 to 45 mph. This hard shell, did the job. I will definitely never leave home to the mountains without them."

Light and packable

"I was considering the L with the short inseam, but it was out of stock so I went for the M. That size turned out perfect. So far I’ve not tested the pants in rain since we’ve only had dry and cold weather. I’ve take it out for some test hikes and I really like the fit and how they perform. Normally I struggle to find shell pants that will fit my thighs, but these really do. No problem putting them over my Attack Pants in waist 34” short inseam. I’ll get the jacket when it’s back in stock."
