Reviews

This is my first Kuiu

"This is my first Kuiu product purchase. The pants fit great and worked exceptionally well. The hunt in the NW Scottish Highlands in late September was quite wet as it rained every day and the peat is comparable to a very soggy sponge. I stayed perfectly dry under my Kiki pants and will be replacing my off brand rain jacket with Kuiu over the winter. The ash color was perfect. Excellent product and I would guess that outdoorsmen helped design them."

Just got to wear it

"Just got to wear it this past weekend. I was running a dog trial and we got hit with hard rains and storms. This light weight rain suit was great as the temperatures were hot and humid but with the vents open it was not like I was wearing a sweat box. It dried very quickly when I hung it up after the rains were done. Probably should have went with the 2XL, I went with the waist sizing and they are a little snug going over my pants."

Worth every penny

"Bought these for a September Iceland trip. Experienced a lot of wind and rain. Walking up the the bottom of a few water falls and never got wet underneath. They fit tight like normal pants. If you're planning to wear them over other pants I would size up"

— Jack G. (5/5)

Chugach Rain Pants

"Just received them, but haven't used yet. I already had the jacket, so knew what to expect as far as the material goes, and I'm sure they will do what I need. The only thing I wish they had was a way to use suspenders somehow."

— Joe L. (4/5)

Church rain pants in Scotland

"So far loving the Chugach TR rain trousers. Very light but effective when red stag stalking in heavy rain. Like the colour too as blends nicely to NW Highlands hills."

— Seamus M. (5/5)

Chugach rain pants

"Keeps me dry and is light weight, and the zipper up the legs make them super easy to put on while wearing boots"

— Rylan G. (5/5)

They are great. Very packable

"They are great. Very packable and lightweight. They came just in time. Had a big rain storm the past few days and they kept me dry. I was able to hike in them and not get soaked."

— Joseph E. (5/5)

Best rain gear I’ve owned

"Hiked 7hrs in the rain in the Chugach backcountry and stayed dry! Air vents allowed me to stay comfortable temperature. Very happy with purchase!"

— Andrew H. (5/5)

Unorthodox Inseam sizes

"31” Inseam is not for “regular” It is short. 32” is standard and accepted everywhere. To go from short 31” to 34” as the next step… unacceptable"

— Michael L. (3/5)

Noisy

"Pants are nice but very noisy cold or hot both noisy...unfortunately. For elk hunting very noisy."

— Vernon M. (3/5)
