Reviews

These pants are great! Basically

"These pants are great! Basically invisible with a full suit. They keep out the water and they’re do the job. If your sitting somewhere in the tundra and your freezing your ass off throw these baby’s on over some puffy pants and long Johns and it’ll be just fine."

Best Rain Paints

"Best rain paints I’ve ever owned…tough enough for the field, but also lightweight and packable—amazing!"

Chugach rain pant gunmetal

"16 days in Patagonia - landscape photography - serious wind and rain at times, sitting on wet ground waiting for the roght light and clouds to part. Never a moment of soak through, reinforcing at the boot level awesome in the dense and thorny brush. Full length zipper awesome for donning quick. Better than expected Size runs true for a rain pant/ over layer. Windproof yet breathable. Buy this if you need this!"

Best made rain pants ever

"Top quality. I had a pair of these one size smaller which fit perfectly over attack pants, but I wanted XXL also for when I wear more beneath. There is room than needed for movement but they still “stay with you” when climbing trees for suburban bow hunting, which is what I use them for."

Worth the buy

"I mountaineer and spend lots of time in the cold weather alongside the snow. I came across these pants not knowing how well they would hold up. To my surprise, moving forward, these pants will be packed on every trip heading to the snow and cold temperatures. I recently summit Ben Nevis in minus 7 degrees, blizzard conditions and winds between 25 to 45 mph. This hard shell, did the job. I will definitely never leave home to the mountains without them."

Q&A

How quite are the chugach tr rain pants
The Chugach TR Rain Pants are the quietest rain pants that we currently offer and are my go-to for bow hunting.
I have a pair of the Attack pants in a size 34 and they fit perfect. I cannot decide which waist size of these rain pants would be best based off of my Attack pants. I understand these would go over another layer, so I’m thinking large. Any recommendations?
Size Large will be the best option, I personally am a 34 as well and the Larges work great!
