Disappointing performance overall. It provides

"Disappointing performance overall. It provides less protection against the cold than expected, even in mild conditions. After just one wash, it also lost most of its waterproofing, which seriously affects its usability."

Too small. Size s fits

"Too small. Size s fits like xs. Order size up before you purchase"

Axis Hybrid

"I like the Jacket I wish I would have got the 2XL. It's not the jacket, it is just tough to account for some layers."

Bret B. (3/5)

Great active wear for fall through spring in the PNW

"I love this jacket and I'd buy it again. My only critique is that it does not provide the warmth or wind protection my Axis Hybrid pants do. I would not want to ambush hunt or brave cold windy days with it. That said, if you're moving/active this is a great jacket. Honestly, I find myself wearing it daily more than anything and it has done really well in surprise bouts of heavy rain."

Great Water Resistant Jacket

"Probably my most used and versatile piece of Kuiu kit. I have 2. One in Valo for hunting and a Gunmetal version for daily wear. It fits well and works great as a water resistant shell. I often wear it over a super down hooded jacket and that combo has kept me very comfortable into the teens. This jacket is not waterproof. I thought it would be a good choice for a drizzly morning hunt. The drizzle turned into a downpour. Had soak through occur throughout. I'm very lucky it wasn't colder, otherwise hypothermia could have been a real possibility. The Yukon rain jacket is truly waterproof. Know what you are getting."

Solid

"I really like this jacket for fishing hiking and hunting. However for everyday wear I find the zippered armpits annoying. The cold zipper often gives the feel as though you are sweating even when you are not. In hindsight I think I would have purchased one of the models without the zippered pits."

I was able to try

"I was able to try on the coat at the sportsman show in Harrisburg. Glad I did runs about one size small. The vendors were extremely helpful. Coat is well built. but looking at the price, it should be basically you’re paying for a top-notch product and that’s what it is."

Mike Z. (5/5)

Almost perfect, but the hood. . .

"I’m 180 cm tall and weigh 63 kg (5'11/140 lbs), so I’m on the skinny side. S for width, M for length. So I went with M. With a mid-layer, like a fleece or a thin down jacket, it’s perfect. But the big downside is the hood. With a cap to protect from the sun, or a merino beanie, it’s impossible to turn your head. The hood is 3 or 4 cm too short (1 or 2 inches), pulling tight across the shoulders, especially when wearing a backpack."

Didier O. (4/5)

Light and tough. Comfortable all

"Light and tough. Comfortable all day."

good coat love the zipper
