Good pants so far

"Was worried the 34 would be too large as I usually wear a 33 (and even they are getting a little loose). The pants probably run slightly smaller than advertised and if pulled up around your waist they are a good fit. Sizing up if between sizes is probably the right call over going down a size. Pants are warm and roomy. Gaiters would help protect the lower legs from damage in rough stuff."

"I love Attackboants! I wear them for hunting of course, but also for everyday office wear as well. The comfort cannot be beat. I like the gunmetal and other more neutral colors for daily wear. Great feel

"Go them a few weeks ago. I wear a 36 in pants and originally bought a 36 but they were tight. Went with a 38, return was easy and they fit and feel great. Super light weight and stretch can wait to try them in the woods. I am 5”10 the 31 inch inseams worked perfect. Nice that they have multiple inseam sizes."

Best of all worlds

"Very soft exterior and interior, much softer than the attack and other soft shell pants. No noise whatsoever. Run a little tighter in the legs than the attack and other hunting pants, but I prefer this. Still has pick resistance, repels water, and great breathability. This is my favorite kuiu pants for Minnesota weather, I'll wear them most of the year. Excessively comfortable for everyday use. I wish they made these encounter lt pants in all the colors, I would wear them everyday!"

Pants are great. I'm in

"Pants are great. I'm in Southern Oregon and these pants are a solid blend of soft shell durability without being too bulky. The thigh vents are perfect for the temperature variability here in the spring and fall where the temps can range from 40F in the morning to 75F in the afternoon. My only gripe is that I'd love to see these pants available in more lengths, but I'm sure y'all have your reasons. I'm normally a 32" length, I went with the 31's and wish I'd gone with the 34" and had them hemmed. My advice to a buyer that's in-between sizes, do that!"

Why can't women's pants have longer inseam options

"I am a woman who bought the men's Attack Pant because I need a 34" inseam and the women's only go to 30-32. Why? There are many tall girls these days that are hunters and active outdoors women who need longer inseams. Also, the men's sizing of the waist to crotch seam length fits me better than the women's which is usually too short and uncomfortable. Even though I love these pants and they fit me well, I am writing this because I was talking about them with several women on a recent bear hunting trip in Alaska. The consensus was that your women's pants are too short in these two areas to be comfortable and wearable."

Very nice

Not again.

"May cancel my order. First pair sizes were WAY off. Took 2 weeks to get those, already waited another 2 weeks for exchange which hasn't shipped yet. Customer service didn't care if I canceled order, made no effort to make things right. Told me new orders ship out before exchanges. This was my first - and last - time with Kuiu. WAY too many other options out there."

More Excellent Innovation

"Great pants! 44’s fit great. I am a 42 waist with every other brand. Always have to size up to 44 and XXXL shirts from XXL. Had to accept 34” inseam as there were no 31’s for 44. Please offer 44 in a 31 inseam. Some slightly older fellas have shorter legs. 😉👍 PS I did spend 16 years in the apparel industry and ran a manufacturing company."

Q&A

Why does it recommend up sizing ? I have not seen this mentioned before; have you changed the cut?
We have an athletic fit and are more form fitting than many other clothing companies. We recommend sizing up if you prefer clothing to be looser fitting.
I own two pairs off the Attack Pants. The fly zipper does not stay up at all. Is this a common problem?

How often do you need to treat the dwr. After every wash? Attack pants
If you wash the pants with a non approved, lower quality detergent it can remove the DWR, but if you use Grangers or Nikwax you can re-treat every year or so, depending how much you use the pants.
Does it have a clip at the bottom to tie to the boot laces?
The Attack Pant does not have a loop for boot laces
What length is the short inseam on the attack pant and what is the regular
Short is 31'', Regular 34'', and Tall 37''
Are the Attack pants considered rain gear
