Great Fit/Pants

"Read a lot of the reviews before purchase saying pants ran small. I wear a 36 on most pants and these pants were a bit snug but certainly not enough to order a size up. Fit well, super comfortable and look nice enough to wear around town. Have been on any hikes with them yet but I am confident they will perform well. Can't speak on durability yet, but I anticipate they will do well."

If only….

"I really love these pants, I have a couple pair now and will keep buying them. I’m going with 4 stars because at this price point I want them to be a bit more durable. I often hike in rough timber scouting on game trails and these pants will snag. So now I don’t get to wear my favorite pants on these hikes. I now wear the Kutana Stretch Woven pants but I don’t prefer to wear them over the Attack pants. If only they would use a tougher material. But I will keep buying them and just using them less. One other comment, odd size waists would be welcome. I can get 35” waist at Kuhl and they fit perfect. The 36” Kuiu fit nice with room for movement, but just a tad roomy where a size 35 would take up that slack."

Built Like a Cheap Castle

"These pants are completely unwearable. They’re built like a cheap castle with no ballroom—there’s simply no room to dance. If you know, you know. It’s a shame because they are super high quality and I love other Kuiu products but these pants feel like they are splitting you in half at the crotch. Maybe the pair I received was just a dud."

11 Miles Scouting

"These pants have been great so far. I have had them for only a few weeks but already scouted in the woods of South Carolina & Ohio for about 9 hours & 11 miles. Temps have all been between 72-93 and the pants have been great. I haven't thought about them at all or gotten overheated. The vents on the sides were great for the hot 93 day. Only complaint would be they run a little small & the 2 front pockets are pretty small also but the pants themselves are great and I look forward to adding more KUIU items to my hunting arsenal."

Poor fit

"Despite checking with KUIU, I was misguided and purchased a size 34, which is tight at the waste by at least an inch. I’m a waist 34, have been the same size for the last 5 years and happily fit into trousers Sitka, Levi’s, Harkila. I purchased a trouser that is sat as a waste now! Very unhappy first time customer"

Q&A

Why does it recommend up sizing ? I have not seen this mentioned before; have you changed the cut?
We have an athletic fit and are more form fitting than many other clothing companies. We recommend sizing up if you prefer clothing to be looser fitting.
I own two pairs off the Attack Pants. The fly zipper does not stay up at all. Is this a common problem?

How often do you need to treat the dwr. After every wash? Attack pants
If you wash the pants with a non approved, lower quality detergent it can remove the DWR, but if you use Grangers or Nikwax you can re-treat every year or so, depending how much you use the pants.
Does it have a clip at the bottom to tie to the boot laces?
The Attack Pant does not have a loop for boot laces
What length is the short inseam on the attack pant and what is the regular
Short is 31'', Regular 34'', and Tall 37''
