And it is just fine even though the one I sent in to get repaired I have got back in the meantime and the zipper worked approximately two weeks after I started wearing it and now it is in more shape than it was before I sent it in the zipper completely came off."

- How does the alpine jacket compare to the Rubicon jacket? The Rubicon is for mild to cold conditions also, so curious the difference as is want a jacket that is slightly lighter than the Rubicon for some occasions.
- The Rubicon and Alpine Hooded Jackets are the same weight, but the Alpine Hooded Jacket will have an improved storm hood and hem cinch. The Alpine also does not have the black stretch panels that the Rubicon had which allows you to blend in better in the field
