Solid upgrade from the venture 2300

"I’ve only worn it for about 20 miles of hiking with light loads. It fits my body really well and moves with me well. Seems to carry weight well. Super comfortable pack and a great upgrade from my old venture 2300. Not sure how well it will do with heavier loads, but I suspect it will handle the weight well. Noticeably lighter than the venture 2300. I love the straps and buckles and how they can be reconfigured. Awesome day pack that you could squeeze a couple days into if you pack light."

Great day pack

"Great day pack. Have used it spot and stalk hunting wild boar in South GA swamps and it has held up great and allowed me to comfortably carry everything I need. Has been out through some mud and rough terrain and held up great."

Great pack

"I purchased this for a smaller light weight framed pack to replace another brand. I’m gearing up for a couple hunts this fall and wanted to have more room what I carry into the mountains for a whitetail hunt. I like to b prepared for a possible overnight stay just in case and with this pack if provides that. I like the internal frame which in my opinion provides not just easier loading and more ridged frame than a softer pack, but a rest for shooting if needed. Looking forward to hitting the woods this fall."

Sturdy, lightweight, outrageously comfortable.

"This pack is incredible. I’ve used it for a few short missions where I packed light and almost forgot it was on my back. For longer treks, it’s surprisingly large and can fit ample gear. Will be using it as my overnight backpacking bag once summer hits. Love the color, fits into the PNW very well. Would recommend."

Great pack

"Very comfortable and I like the way all the compartments are laid out. Also for the price it’s by far the best bang for your buck."

Q&A

Can this pack out elk quarters?
It would not be the best choice for elk quarters as you would have to de-bone the meat and the pack is only rated to carry about 45lbs. A better option would be our Pro, Pro LT or Pro Divide Packs
Is the only difference between the medium and large the size of the belt? I'm 6' even, but fairly slender, so don't need the extra length on the waist
The main difference will be between the height of the bags. The Large is about 2" taller than the Medium
If I am 5'9" and a half, should I order large or medium? Thanks!
We would recommend going with Large
