Toray’s synthetic 3DeFX+ insulation combines coil-shaped fibers that stretch with the body to provide unmatched freedom of movement with more loft than other synthetic insulation options. Till now, a specific coating was needed to keep the insulating fibers from migrating through the face fabric limiting breathability, giving the garment a sheen, and generating more noise. These continuous fibers eliminate the ends that can poke through the face fabric. This allows us to use an uncoated face creating a quieter, more breathable garment with a more matted finish concluding with a product that is perfect as a breathable active insulation piece.
Traditional down had never been a viable option for mountain hunting considering it loses all insulating properties when subject to perspiration or precipitation. By treating each cluster at a microscopic level with a DWR, each individual cluster is impervious to moisture allowing a lighter, more packable insulation option. We source all of our 850+ fill power down from Poland, where the year-long colder than average climate forces geese to generate lofty plumage to stay warm. This highly water-resistant down insulation traps as much heat as possible while keeping your overall pack weight down.
Primeflex fabrics solve the problem of restrictive clothing by utilizing a patented spiral yarn that allows the fabric to stretch and recover without using heavy, water-absorbing spandex. The result is a more comfortable, higher-performing fabric that stretches a considerable amount more and weighs 40% less than comparable polyester fabrics. This elastane free polyester stretches with your body eliminating any restriction in movement, while woven tightly to assist the DWR coating in fighting off external moisture.

Dot Air fabric technology was created to help Summer Olympic teams manage heat stress by controlling the surface temperature of your skin with a highly breathable fabric. Dot Air brings full body ventilation to hot weather hunts.
As good as traditional merino was, Nuyarn is better. By eliminating the spun yarn, we get merino wool that has more loft and stretch which makes a more durable and insulating base layer that dries at an accelerated rate. Classic yarns twist fibers together for strength, which leaves ends poking out that can cause irritation to the skin. Nuyarn takes the twist out, and instead lays fibers along the same orientation, so fabrics feel less prickly and more comfortable. This also gives the fabric more loft which in turn, generate a higher insulation rate in a naturally odor resistant base layer.
Dermizax NX is a completely windproof and waterproof four-way stretch porous membrane that eliminates the bulk and weight of non-breathable rain gear. Its smooth texture and lightweight configuration make Dermizax NX up to four times more breathable than other waterproof fabrics. Its tiny porous construction allows vapor created by your body to escape through the fabric preventing the buildup of sweat on the inside of your rain gear. External moisture in liquid form is too large to permeate through the membrane, making this the ideal water protection for high exertion activity.
Toray’s Karuishi Fleece thermal solution uses ultra-fine polyester fibers for a softer next-to-skin feel, and a brushed fabrication to trap your body heat. Unlike ordinary fleece, Karuishi Fleece uses a 2-layer knit structure to give the brushed fleece interior more loft for better insulating properties, while the exterior has higher abrasion resistance. The hydrophobic nature of the fabric wicks moisture away from your skin so it can quickly evaporate, keeping you dry.
Normally, highly functional windbreakers need a membrane to be considered windproof, but lack versatility when it comes to other benefits. Toray's wind resistant fleece technology takes a new approach to blocking wind. Eliminating the need for a windproof membrane by utilizing a unique bonding technique between the face fabric and fleece backer. This allows the garment to resist wind while also having exceptional breathability, stretch and soft next-to-skin feel. This brings more versatility to the fabrick which can now be used in many different conditions.
