Ultralight Hunting Tents

At KUIU, we offer two types of tents- external-pole tents and trekking-pole-pitch shelters. In this overview, you’ll learn the best application and benefits of our external-pole tents with built in rain fly, and the multiple configurations for each tent.

The advantage of a free-standing external pole tent is you can pitch them anywhere, even if you can’t get a stake in the rocky ground. With its built-in rain fly, you can pitch them in a down pour without getting the insides wet.

The Mountain Star can be set up in three different configurations.
The Storm Star can be set up in three different configurations.
