Super Down PRO Pant
lifetime warranty on all our gear
INCREDIBLY COMPRESSIBLE, WARM, AND WATER-RESISTANT
The Super Down PRO system is built for the coldest conditions, meant to be worn as an insulated outer layer. With more than double the yarn denier and down insulation of the Super Down ULTRA, the Super Down PRO is our toughest, warmest insulation system. The jacket is cut generously so that multiple base and insulation pieces can be layered underneath. It is ideal for glassing and hunting in extreme cold and snow.
Featuring Toray's DWR treated QUIXDOWN, KUIU's down insulation systems keep their loft even when wet. 850+ down fill power means that 1 oz of down takes up at least 850 cubic inches of volume, making it the loftiest (and therefore warmest) on the market. The incredible loft of QUIXDOWN allows for Super Down PRO to be filled with double the insulation of the Super Down ULTRA, yet still pack down remarkably small. Both the Jacket and Pant have zippered hand pockets with the left doubling as a stuff sack.
The Super Down PRO Pant features durable 70Dx80D ripstop panels at heavy-wear areas (knee, cuff, seat), allowing it to be worn as an outer layer, without worrying about tears. Unlike our base layer pants, the Super Down PRO is full length, and meant to be worn over your boots.

Quixdown® by Toray
Down has the highest warmth-to-weight ratio of any insulation material. The only drawback is that once wet, down stops being effective. Not anymore. Through nanotechnology, Toray Industries has created a water repellent finish for down feathers that makes each down cluster essentially waterproof. Quixdown® stays dry to keep you warmer with less weight and bulk.

Lightweight, Stretchable Comfort
Toray develops a new fabric technology and KUIU brings it to Mountain Hunters first! Ultralight, down-proof Stunner Stretch fabrics stretch as you move and put a layer of luxurious comfort between you and the warm softness of KUIU’s premium Polish down. And, of course, Stunner Stretch minimizes bulk and weight.

Toray’s Kudos® XR DWR
Kudos® XR DWR (Durable Water-Repellent)
Kudos XR DWR performs better and lasts significantly longer than conventional DWR. DWR is critical for waterproof breathable face fabric. If DWR fails the face fabric “wets out” causing condensation build up on the inside of the garment.
